No Promises, No Demands

I have 4 and a half books to read. Fun books, nevermind those silly textbooks.
1. I have to finish The Devil's Teardrop, by Jeffrey Deaver. For those of you unfamiliar with the name, his book The Bone Collector was made into a movie not too long ago with Angelina Jolie and Denzel Washington.
2. The Penelopiad, by Margaret Atwood. It tells the tale of Penelope while she's waiting for Odysseus to come back from his journeys.
3. Children of the Day, by Sandra Birdsell. Canadian Drama. It's on Chapters hot new fiction table.
4. Deception Point, by Dan Brown. Hey, it's Dan Brown; Mr. Da Vinci Code himself. (By the way, in the 5 1/2 hours I was working at Chapters yesterday I must have sold at least 6 copies of The Da Vinci Code, or Angels and Demons, not counting the Angels and Demons on tape).
5. Wicked, by Gregory Maguire. This is the book that inspired the Broadway musical. It's about the Wicked Witch of the West, and how she became bad. Other books by Maquire are Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, and Lost (to name a few).

4, and 5 are my own books, while the other ones are from the library, and that's why they are in the order they are. I plan on buying a book called Memoirs of Cleopatra shortly. It looks so interesting, and for 24 dollars, it's a really thick book!
