I Wanna Let The World Know

So, remember how I said I hated to leave because my landlords were so nice? I LIED! I can't believe how one person can make another so miserable. Ah, maybe things are blown out of proportion because I'm so tired. I get home from work, then I pack for hours on end. I feel like I'm finally putting a dent in things. My room is 99.9% done, then it's the bathroom - not a lot of effort, the living room, (mostly everything is packed) and the kitchen - which is just cleaning up. So I guess I'm pretty much done, but I only have tomorrow left. Alright, off to bed.

6 more until........

Maybe Tomorrow, I'll Want to Settle Down

Ah, that title is just for Betty. I wonder if anyone else will recognize it? So, my loyal readers, the verdict is in. I am now a proud renter of a place in Bowness!!!!!!!! We got it!!! I'm so excited! And, I get to move in on May 31, which is when I have to be out of my place. Woot woot and woot some more.
The only thing that is sort of scarying me is 10 sleeps before Kristin arrives. Ah well, I'll be fine I'm sure.
So, the things I need now is a mattress. It's not going to be a huge deal because I have a pull-out couch, but you know, not the best for a good night sleep.
A girl at work is selling me her kitchen table and 4 chairs for $15! Isn't that great?
7 remaining until...................

That's Just the Way It Is

Job offer yesterday. Can't take it.
Bowness open house today. Had a dream about it and it went well. So pray we get this place - it seems ideal.
Packing today. Got everything in the kitchen out that I can. Well, I just have to clean my waffle iron and it'll be all done that I can. I've thrown some wierd stuff out. The wierdest - water chestnuts.
I've moved on into the living room, cleaning off tables, throwing junk out.
I should be about 75% done today. The rest of the 25% stuff like my TV and stuff, and fridge and freezor junk. I think I'm running out of boxes. Eep. But that's ok, my landlords are bringing boxes over when they let the people move stuff in on Saturday. It's a good thing I'm not going to be there, or I will tell them the kitchen sink leaks and makes their stuff all gross, no matter what you do, the house smells, and if there's ever a fire, they'll just have to die because there are bars over the windows and deadbolted, and we don't have the key. Oh, and I'm taking the fire extinguisher, so that's one more thing that's illegal - you need a fire extinguisher in a kitchen.
Ok, enough procrastinating.

Should've Known Better

Ok, so here's the thing. I have to move out of my place on May 31. As of now, I don't have a place to move into. Please pray hard for a place to stay.
Oh, and for some reason, my landlords are letting the people half move in on Saturday. I hate that. They're so frustrating. Now, I have no cares about calling the health department to rat them out. At first I just felt bad, but now I realize they have screwed me over lots of times. I'm so frustrated! I mean, I still live here, why should they move their stuff in? Why can't I wait? Oy.
Here's hoping for a house to magically fall in my lap, and for Taylor to win American Idol. I'd marry him.

We Shall Overcome Today

Remember the Titans is to ABC as Pretty Woman is to Superstation
I had a dream that on Osama Bin Laden's 100th birthday, when I was in Toronto in a layover fleeing from Middle Earth to London, Saddam Hussein hit me when he was driving, running into me, and hurt my knee.
I was sick last night.
But I don't really know why. My mom thinks it's because I had a Mike's Hard Lemonade, but it has less alcohol than I normally have when I have a cooler. I think it's the summation of physical stress, since I don't feel it emotionally. It could also still be because my house is a hellhole. Who knows. All I know is that I slept for 8 hours without moving, then I promptly slept 4 hours more, and I'm still tired enough to sleep a few hours more, but I won't, because then my internal clock will be screwed up.
I feel bad though, I was in the midst of watching King Kong for the first time with Andrew and John. I left like 3 minutes in. Methinks I'm going to borrow it from them hopefully.
Anymore news? Not on the house front, but John and Andrew said that I can keep some of my stuff there for a while. That makes me feel better, because I have places for my body to live, but not for my possessions.
Wednesday is Joya's birthday.
Friday is XMen.
Next Wednesday I have to move out.
I like Bruce Springsteen more and more. He really is The Boss, but he's not the boss of me, no one is!
Remember when it was hard to figure out how to spell 'no one'. I mean, 'anyone' is one word, 'everyone' is one word, why isn't 'no one'? Because it looks like this: noone. What the deuce is a noone? Ah, Old English for the lunching hour I suppose.

Tomorrow: THE DA VINCI CODE!!!!!! I've only been looking forward to this for a year!
Next Friday: XMen: The Last Stand.
Woot woot and woot some more.

And I'll leave off with something uber disturbing. I saw three birds.....doing......it.

It's All Messed Up But We're Alive

Still sick. I would have to say most definitly from the mould. Why? Because I took out every single garbage in the house and have had the door open for the air, and it's still gross smelling when you come inside and stuffy. Plus, all the sickness is in my chest and throat. I actually feel terrible. I never sleep well when I'm sick (even though I sleep a lot), so I'm pretty darn tired - even though I went to sleep about 2 hours before I normally do). I'm hoping I can go home early from work today, because it hurts to talk, as well as when I swallow, I feel like I'm swallowing swords and daggers horizontally.
I'm buying crocs soon. I hope their as comfortable for me as they are for the rest of the world.
On Friday Joya and I are seeing The Da Vinci Code. I'm getting really tired at having to "justify" why I want to watch this. Does not everyone know that Tom Hanks is my alltime favourite actor? Good grief, who else would buy and watch The Bonfire of the Vanities?
Speaking of Joya, she asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. I haven't been a bridesmaid in more than 10 years. I'm uber excited. Of course that means that I'll have to cut my trip home short- or does it? I guess it all depends on when I graduate and stuff.
I should try to eat something.
Please pray that I can go home early today - even though I went home yesterday too, I really need to kick this, and it's not happening as soon as I would like!

You Gave Me Just What I Needed

So tired. Still not used to waking up ever so early every day. Plus it seems I'm perma-sick. Reason? Most likely mould. GROSS!
Driveshaft was playing in the background of an Alias episode. Driveshaft is the name of Charlie's band in Lost - created by J.J. Abrams, who just so happened to create Alias. Yes, I know, this makes me a nerd. So be it.
We still don't have a place. We kind of need one. HELP!
Watched the last episode of 7th Heaven Sunday. I'm so glad Simon did not marry Rose. And how campy is every single married Camden having twins. I so didn't expect that at all. (After the beep, please turn off sarcasm) Beep.
Haha, you were wrong about Chris being in the top three. Sucka.
Probably going to bed now.

But More, Much More Than This

Evening of swellness: Watching Family Guy, watching The Warriors, watching episode 1.1 of Lost, hanging out with funny people, eating Delissio pizza, chips, donuts and pepsi. I like having neighbours I know.
Day of badness: Having a whole bunch of people ogling my stuff, and always having to wake up early when I should sleep-in.
Weeks of hopefullness: Finding a place in Varsity and really really really wanting it.
Days of Excitement: Alida coming down for a few days and being able to hang out with her.
Night of Fun: I might skip book club to watch Cold Case, The Simpsons, Family Guy and LOTR.
Day of Off: I have Monday off, so I'll do some sleeping in, some laundry some LOTR.
Week of Potentials: Hanging out with Joya, Prince's Island Park? I might waffle her since she waffled me.
Day of words becoming Verbs: Yesterday I went over to Joya's for waffles, and we're going to share in waffling each other. We both got waffle irons. It's a nice "girl's night in", and waffles are yummy!
Weeks of Counting down: 55 Days until mom and dad show up.

I Just Wanna Bang On My Drums All Day

Waffle irons, "pineapples", lobster, POD, trying to honk the horn, and shopping carts. That pretty much sums up my shopping trip with Joya. Good times. We're pretty sure we share a brain.
I have new neighbours. And I know them. And I can potentially steal some of their rhubarb. We still haven't found a place. I've given my months notice so we really really need one. I can't even get a hold of Jordan because I think his phone has been disconnected.
I haven't had a day off in a week and a day. I'm really tired. Really really really tired.
Alida comes in today. We're hanging out tomorrow and Thursday.
Joya and I are going to try to get advanced tickets for The Da Vinci Code for May 19. I want to support it on opening weekend (Where they get most of their stats I think).
Joya and I are also going to X:3. I'm so excited. I think I almost drooled when I saw the previews for both of those movies. Other movies I want to see: Water, Guys and Balls, The House of Sand, and now I can't remember any more. (These movies are all foreign, but they look excellent).
Did you know Michael W. Smith was in a movie called The Second Chance? Apparently it's good, but when I saw the preview, I didn't see a character, I saw Michael W. Smith. Interesting.
Did you know that Akeelah and the Bee is getting bad reviews? I thought it would be ok. Well it is Starbucks first movie. Next up, The Gap presents, Jungle Book: Mowgli's Revenge.
I said I was tired.
